The 2nd Annual International Conference INSPIRE 2026, organised by the Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) of the Royal Institute Campus (RIC), will be held on 21st August 2026. Building on the success of INSPIRE 2025, the 2026 conference will once again serve as a hybrid, multidisciplinary platform fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, global partnerships, and impactful research collaboration. Guided by the theme “Envisioning Tomorrow: Innovation, Inclusivity, and the Research Frontier,” INSPIRE 2026 highlights the importance of advancing new ideas, embracing diverse perspectives, and expanding the frontiers of knowledge to address contemporary global challenges. The conference represents a defining milestone in RIC’s evolution towards a research-driven and collaboration-oriented institution, reaffirming CQA’s leadership in nurturing a culture of research, innovation, and academic excellence across disciplines.

60+ research abstracts accepted and presented across multiple thematic tracks, with strong participation from RIC staff, visiting faculty, and external researchers. Contributions came from state universities, private universities, international universities, and industry, reflecting both local and global engagement. Distinguished academics from partner institutions, including LSE and Deakin University, delivered keynote addresses, underscoring RIC’s global academic partnerships. A successful hybrid format (onsite + online) enabled wider accessibility and international participation. For the first time, conference proceedings were published with an ISSN, ensuring recognition as a citable and enduring scholarly record, now accessible via the RIC Research webpage (https://ric.lk/research-conference/).
